For more than twenty years, I've worked behind the scenes of live television and field production — running audio for NFL and MLB Networks, ESPN, the major news networks, Dr. Phil and Harpo Studios, the Detroit Auto Show, Animal Planet, and National Geographic.

Some of the most meaningful work happens off-camera. I've been glad to support Detroit-area organizations like Children's Center, United Way, the Pope Francis Center, and the Huntington's Disease Society of America.

Equipment changes every year. What doesn't is the job itself — getting the sound right, and earning the trust of the crew you're standing next to. I'm looking forward to more of both.
